Responsibilities :
Define, document, and drive the vision for animation on the AAA title projects ;
Manage a team of animators, spearheading project planning, ensuring quality and staying on the schedule precisely ;
Create / determine the benchmark in each project and test ;
Set up the production pipeline for animation in AAA games ;
Act as the key person to communicate between animators, cross department in studio and the external clients ;
Provide the guidance during the creative discussion with design and art leadership ;
Participate to putting together proposals for clients and projects by defining the strategy for animation and estimate the workload ;
Be a strong partner with producers to ensure the schedules and plans meet business needs ;
Mentor / Pitcher to support the animation team with constructing feedbacks ;
Provide a sharp perspective with game-logic to meet the quality and requirement ;
Analyze the workflow, technical key points of new projects, and understand requirements from leads and clients ;
Foresee the weakness and threats in animation department to improve what is needed ;
Be a team Cultural keeper and guardian to create an atmosphere with belonging ;
Pitch the action / acting in Cinematics to fulfill the story-telling and narrative inside ; camera staging is needed as well.
