What will you do

As Director, Customer Development, eCommerce (including Amazon, Omni, Last Mile Delivery), Costco and Dollarama, you will lead a dynamic team of 12 individuals dedicated to crafting and executing strategic business plans.


Your role will focus on building robust relationships across category management, supply chain, marketing, and media partners for your key customers.


You will have direct accountability for the Amazon, Costco and Dollarama customer, drive omnichannel strategies across our Canadian retailers and advance eCommerce capabilities.


Mentoring and developing a high-performance team is an essential part of the role.


You will also sit as a core member of the Sales Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities


  1. Lead & develop comprehensive Joint Business Plans and retailer negotiations to drive accelerated growth against key Kenvue and Customer priorities and strategies across assigned group of customers, delivering against core internal targets (Net Trade Sales, Share, Profitability) and Customer targets (Consumption, Margin).

  2. Develop & foster collaborative, trust-based and growth-focused end-to-end customer relationships across their category management, supply chain & replenishment, marketing, media, and advertising teams.

  3. Utilize data, analytics and insights to drive mutually beneficial category growth, enhanced profitability and operational efficiency.

  4. Coach & develop 3 direct reports with the goal of supporting associates to deliver/exceed against agreed upon business objectives and development plans, while being a mentor and coach to the broader Customer Development organization.

  5. Foster collaboration between internal Kenvue cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales Strategy, Supply Chain, Project Management, Trade Customization and Finance, to align on focused priorities and drive business outcomes.


    Partner with local and NA partners to lead commercialization of “fit for channel assortment”.

  6. As a member of the Sales Leadership Team, you will shape best practices, provide strategic guidance, and support the Customer Development organization to drive an exceptional team culture.


    Collaborate with key NA & Global partners.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Skills / Experiences


  1. A University degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or related fields.

  2. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer development.

  3. A minimum 5 years within Customer Leadership roles.

  4. Must demonstrate ability to coach, mentor and lead high-performance teams and individuals.

  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation plans across many areas.

  6. Strong Digital Commerce experience; Amazon experience is preferred.

  7. Proven track record of successfully working in a complex, matrix organization.

  8. Ability to impact and influence different areas of the organization.


    Experience setting and rallying different stakeholders behind the established vision.

  9. Demonstrate results orientation while empowering and holding the team accountable for results.

  10. Proven experience thinking “out of the box” to develop strategies and tactics.


    Strategic problem solver and ability to craft business plans for short term and long-term thinking.

  11. Demonstrated ability to forecast Sales and Consumption, effectively manage and optimize trade investment.

  12. Strong negotiation for profitable growth skills and experience.
