  2. Implement models in COMSOL, 3D Experience, and other tools; run simulations for various objectives (specification, prediction, advanced studies).

  3. Create tools and techniques (experimental and modeling) for physicochemical characterization of battery cells and components; develop a material database.

  4. Perform Design of Experiments (DOEs) and experiments in collaboration with scientists and engineers for characterization, model parametrization, and validation.

  5. Conduct advanced studies, analyze data, run simulations, and deliver results to support the Product Development Team throughout the project lifecycle.

  6. Review current literature on physico-chemical phenomena in Li-ion cells and their mathematical models.

  7. Collaborate with cell development leaders to meet project requirements and timelines.

  8. Lead technical investigations, perform diagnostics, prepare progress reports, and contribute to design review dossiers.

  9. Take initiative in developing intellectual property.

  2. Ensure traceability and reliability of simulation results, methods, and data.

  3. Apply best practices in mathematical modeling and numerical simulations.

  4. Deliver case-study results on time according to product development timelines.

  5. Prepare technical notes, standards, and work instructions on tools, methods, and studies.

Prerequisites :

  1. PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

  2. Specialized knowledge in electrochemistry, electrochemical engineering, and Li-ion batteries.

  3. At least 3 years of experience in physics-based modeling of Li-ion batteries.

  4. Strong background in mathematical modeling and model order reduction techniques.

  5. Proficiency in scientific coding (Matlab/Python) and numerical methods (FEM, CVM, etc.).

  6. Experience with simulation tools (3D Experience, ANSYS, COMSOL, etc.).

  7. Hands-on experience in lab activities (cell assembly, testing, etc.).
