Embedded Software Engineer

Hummink is a deeptech startup that enables the manufacturing of micro and nano-electronic objects of tomorrow.


Thanks to its breakthrough High Precision Capillary Printing technology (HPCaP), Hummink is overcoming the current industry limitations with a simpler, faster, and more environment
- friendly solution.

Spun-off from the prestigious physics labs of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, the company was founded in 2020 and is already collaborating with major industrial players from the semiconductor, display and printed electronics sectors.


Hummink has already sold equipment in Europe, US and Asia, and is under qualification with major industrial manufacturers to ramp up their sales.

In this context, Hummink is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer that will work together with the technical teams at Hummink to help design and implement the robust control software that powers our next-generation platforms.

Missions 

• Work with STM32 microcontrollers to develop industrial systems using C/C++ 


• Optimize real-time operating system applications with strict timing requirements 


• Establish and execute comprehensive testing protocols 


• Collaborate with other teams including hardware, software and  process engineers 


• Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and improvement of development practices


• Participate in improving overall team and departmental performance and iIdentify opportunities for innovation and optimization in existing systems

Profile and Experience

• Engineering degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics or Automation Engineering


• 
  
  - 10 years of professional experience developing firmware 


• Familiarity with industrial-grade embedded systems is a plus


• Proven experience with STM32 microcontrollers and real-time systems


• Fluency in English and French (working proficiency required in both)
