This permanent position supports project development, procurement, pre-construction, asset management, and innovation for high-impact renewable projects.
Responsibilities
Advise on design and technical optimization of storage systems across multiple regions.
Provide expertise for permitting on topics such as fire safety, noise, and gas dispersion.
Evaluate innovative revenue streams including grid-forming and ancillary services.
Conduct technical evaluations of battery cells, containers, and integrated solutions.
Perform supplier audits, support framework negotiations, and track technology trends.
Focus on HSE, safety, cycling life, and efficiency to improve project outcomes.
Contribute to internal specifications, technical RFPs, and proposal evaluations.
Negotiate supplier warranties and technical annexes for EPC and O&M contracts.
Analyze operational data to enhance system performance and longevity.
Support battery modeling and strategy for market optimization and degradation control.
Build internal knowledge through training, R&D, and experimentations (e.g., grid forming, digital twins).
Lead knowledge sharing initiatives and participate in international industry events.
Requirements
8–10 years of experience in the battery storage industry.
Deep expertise in BESS technologies, supply chains, and project development.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
Fluent in English (French is a plus).
Experience with large-scale internationalenergy projects is advantageous.
