I am looking for a ResearchEngineer to join a growing Synthetic biology start-up looking to decarbonise the materials industry.
As a ResearchEngineer your main focus will be developing and refining the methods used to extract and analyze polymers to improve the microbial strains and fermentation processes.
The role involves extracting and purifying polymers, using analytical techniques like NMR and SEC to assess polymer quality and yield, and scaling extraction processes from microplates to 2L fermentations.
They are seeking a motivated, hands-on individual eager who holds a Master’s degree or engineering diploma in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
