We are currently recruiting an Field Service Engineer, ideally based in Lyon area.


This is a position requiring travel to customer sites, up to 80% of your time.



Your main responsibilities will be to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of LC-MS systems and/or IT solutions at the customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts.



In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Diagnose system failures and identify the most cost-effective solution.


• Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical support and/or the quality department.


• May develop new service/product agreements with customers.


• Respond to customer support calls for an assigned territory (primarily Auvergne Rhône-Alpes).


• Perform after-sales service with a focus on continuous improvement.


• Regularly report field activity.


• Ensure rigorous administrative management (expense reports, spare parts, etc.).
  
  
  
  

• Degree or Advance Degree in chemistry/physics/chemistry/instrumentation.


• LC experience preferred or LC/MS experience preferred, in a laboratory equipped with these technologies.


• Good level of English (oral and written).


• Valid driver's license required.
