Position SummaryThe Field Service Engineer will support End users and Distribution Partners.
The support provided is mainly on site at the production locations of our end user customers and aimed at asset management and efficiency improvement for the end user.
The role requires extensive travel and an individual who can work independently.
The geographical area may vary depending on company needs, employee location, and language skills.
We seek someone who finds professional satisfaction by creating value for the customer.
This position operates in an international and multicultural industry environment.
Responsibilities
- Safety:
Always prioritize safety.
Ensure equipment safety and proper training.
Use lockout/tagout procedures to ensure equipment is off during maintenance.
- Line Surveys:
Conduct comprehensive product mapping of Regal Rexnord (or similar) products along production lines.
- Wear Status of Components:
Measure component wear during line surveys.
- Data Processing:
Format and upload collected site data to the portal for customer access.
- Quote Support:
Provide information to Customer Service for MRO parts replacement offers.
- Training:
Train distribution partners to perform field services and upload data correctly.
- Interchanges:
Recommend upgrades when competitor products are used or better alternatives are available.
- Promotion:
Promote Premium Service benefits during customer visits, emphasizing repeated surveys.
- Upselling:
Discuss line audits with customers to analyze and improve production efficiency.
- Product Management:
Collect customer feedback for product improvements and new product ideas.
- Account Management:
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Communication:
Coordinate projects and communicate effectively.
Experience and Skills Required
- Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Field Service Engineering or similar roles.
- Self-motivated with strong ownership qualities.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work after hours if needed.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Driver's license.

- Field Service Engineer I:
- 2 years of experience; entry-level.
- Field Service Engineer II:
- 5 years of experience; developing expertise.
- Field Service Engineer III:
- 7 years of experience; specialized knowledge.
- Senior Field Service Engineer:
- 10+ years of experience; seasoned professional.
