About the Role :

We’re looking for an ambitious, resourceful, and scrappy Strategy & Operations Associate to join us at SharpStakes.


You’ll work directly with the founder, taking on a wide range of projects across operations, recruiting, outreach, and finance.


Some days you’ll be booking flights or wiring money; other days you’ll be reaching out to investors, taking calls, or leading research into new markets.

This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role for someone who wants a front-row seat to building a startup.


You’ll learn how a business is built by actually helping build it.

What You’ll Do :

• Own outreach :
  
  
  messaging candidates, investors, or partners on the founder’s behalf


• Support hiring :
  
  
  help run recruiting funnels, message candidates, post jobs


• Assist with light financial ops :
  
  
  sending payments, tracking expenses, AR / AP


• Join calls and meetings as a proxy for the founder


• Lead small projects :
  
  
  market research, pitch deck drafting, early experiments


• Be ready to do whatever it takes to keep momentum going


• You’re obsessed with startups and learning fast


• You’re organized, adaptable, and love wearing multiple hats


• You take ownership and figure things out independently


• You’ve had exposure to business, finance, or startup environments (internships / side hustles count)


• You’re someone people trust to get things done

• Prior experience at a startup or fast-paced environment


• You’ve done outreach that led to real outcomes


• You’ve worked directly with an exec before or managed complex logistics
