Achieve sales, account growth, and client success objectives at one of our most strategic accounts - including identifying and qualifying platform growth opportunities, and efficiently using resources in order to bring opportunities to a successful conclusion.
Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction - consistent with Medidata principles.You will report into the Director of Mid Market Sales.Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic account management plans for assigned accountsAttainment of all revenue and booking targets within assigned territoryRepresent Medidata in a manner consistent with company principles and ethicsCoordinate resources within sales and other departmentsMaintain and update account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including Quarterly and/or annual sales targets are covered under a separate documentQualifications:
Strong knowledge of life sciences industry, including R&D, Clinical, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and IT functionsDemonstrated consistent track record of being a trusted advisor within large accountsUse a consultative approach to accomplish positive outcomes for clientsDemonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales and related account targetsAbility to gain executive credibility, understand organizational political dynamics and competitive awarenessStrong application software experienceDemonstrated success with process approached sellingBachelor's degree requiredRequires successful relevant experienceBase pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
