MISSIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Under the leadership of the Operations Lead, the TrainManager is a workflow leader in his area of expertise:
he works with operational and financial experts to deliver technical and financial offers.
- Strategic Planning:
o Develop and implement strategic plans for the efficient operation of the train network.
o Collaborate with other departments to align transportation strategies with overall company objectives.
o Identify and assess opportunities for network expansion and improvement.
- Operational Coordination:
o Coordinate the day-to-day transportation activities, ensuring seamless operations.
o Monitor train schedules, routes, and adherence to timetables.
o Collaborate with maintenance and depot teams to ensure rolling stock availability and reliability.
- Quality and Efficiency:
o Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the quality and efficiency of transportation services.
o Identify areas for improvement and implement measures to enhance operational effectiveness.
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Profil :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in the railway industry.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in relevant software and technology used in transportation management.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
