This role is with Ingenico, a global leader in payments acceptance solutions, serving merchants, banks, acquirers, ISVs, payment aggregators, and fintech customers worldwide.

As part of the new technology team, you will contribute to accelerating the design of new Hardware Android Platforms.

• Accelerate the development of new products with hardware platforms by validating initial hardware and software components.


• Define the SoC roadmap in collaboration with R&D groups.


• Evaluate new SoC platforms and create mock-ups, integrating hardware security architectures with evaluation boards from SoC vendors.


• Bring up vendor-delivered software to boot and operate embedded systems, including collecting software from various Android repositories and building images for mock-ups.


• Support R&D teams in introducing validated technologies or PoCs into products/projects.


• Identify and analyze new technological components and trends.


• Contribute to technical committees and marketing discussions.

Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience as a Software or Embedded System Engineer.


Proficiency in French and English is required.


A solid understanding of embedded system hardware and software architectures is essential.

• Software skills:
  
  
  Android AOSP, Linux (Kernel Drivers, APIs), FreeRTOS, C, Python; tools:
  
  
  Git, Android AOSP build environment, Android Studio.


• Hardware skills:
  
  
  MPU, MCU, Memories, PMIC, interfaces like USB, UART, SPI, I2C, MIPI; knowledge of Touch Screen & Display Technologies is a plus; ability to read electronic schematics.
