They are seeking an EnergyBuyer to be in charge of the purchasing of gas, electricity, biomass, wind and solar energy for their different sites in Europe.
The ideal candidate must have over 10 years of experience in the purchasing of Energy from industry and for large volumes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the entire spectrum of purchasing activities, from the initial request for quotation (RFQ) to the final delivery of services and materials.
- Engages in all crucial preparatory meetings.
- Maintains a strong collaborative relationship with internal clients and colleagues.
- Handles the supplier relationship, addressing all financial aspects.
- Takes charge of or contributes to the RFQ process:
compiles bid lists and requirements, dispatches RFQ documentation to vendors, evaluates their responses with the project team, and formulates decisions regarding supplier selection with the project.
- Concludes contracts post-supplier selection and oversees the related administrative tasks, including issuing purchase orders.
- Develops strategies for medium to long-term objectives.
- Establishes benchmarks.
- Recommends optimal practices for upcoming projects.
