As part of the Simulation and Virtual Validation team at the Beauvais Engineering, the engineers primary mission will be to perform fluid and thermal simulations across the entire vehicle.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct fluid and thermal simulations for the entire vehicle.
Communicate with engineers responsible for various thermal systems of the vehicle (HVAC, engine cooling, etc.) to understand the requirements and objectives of the simulations.
Research, collect, and analyze essential input data for creating numerical models.
Improve existing methodologies and develop new ones.
Implement simulations using CFD and system modeling tools.
Participate in drafting specifications for outsourcing calculation requests.
Present results through calculation notes to the requesters.
Participate in global meetings to exchange best practices on fluid and thermal simulation.
Competencies
Initial experience in CFD or system simulation, including internships.
Interest in complex system modeling.
Advanced technical education in mechanical engineering (Masters degree or equivalent).
Initial experience (including internships) in system or CFD simulation, with an interest in complex system modeling.
Knowledge of CFD tools (Star:
CCM+, Fluent, etc.) or system simulation tools (AMESIM/Simscape or equivalent) is a real asset.
Operational English skills are essential for working in an international environment.
