About the role:
Our team is looking for Installation Engineering Lead in Île-de-France, France for one of our partner.
The Installation Engineering Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing installation engineering activities for offshore projects.
This includes developing installation procedures, managing technical documentation, interfacing with various stakeholders, and providing technical support during onshore preparation and offshore operations.
The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and update installation procedures, checklists, and reports.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and operations teams.
Provide technical support for equipment, rigging, lifting, and transportation.
Manage installation engineering documentation and deliverables.
Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and reporting.
Support HSE and risk assessment processes.
Assist with onshore and offshore operations, including testing and load-outs.
Provide offshore technical support and assist with operational modifications.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Marine, or related).
7+ years of offshore installation engineering experience.
Technical Skills:
Offshore Installation Procedures & Techniques – Expertise in planning and executing offshore installation activities, including subsea structures, pipelines, and mooring systems.
Structural & Lifting Analysis – Knowledge of lifting plans, rigging calculations, and load-out procedures to ensure safe and efficient offshore operations.
Marine & Subsea Engineering – Understanding of marine operations, hydrodynamics, ROV intervention, and subsea installation methodologies.
HSE & Risk Management – Familiarity with safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessments, and offshore safety protocols.
Technical Documentation & Project Coordination – Ability to create and manage technical reports, method statements, and installation manuals while coordinating across engineering, procurement, and fabrication teams.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work in both office and offshore environments.
