With an international presence and culture, they have a growing customer base, leading to increasing data volumes.
In this big data environment, the company is looking for a Platform Engineer with proven experience in virtualization and orchestration, who has worked in 24/7 production environments and handled large-scale data volumes.
THE ROLE:
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining virtualization platforms (exploring Open Source platforms like KubeVirt)
- Designing and optimizing orchestration workflows for automation processes
- Ensuring high availability of systems through monitoring and performance optimization (Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Infrastructure optimization and troubleshooting
- Writing and maintaining detailed documentation of best practices and actively contributing to the team's success through collaboration
DESIRED PROFILE:
The ideal candidate should meet as many of the following criteria as possible:
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) preferred
- Experience working in 24/7 production environments
- Expertise in open-source virtualization solutions
- Comfortable with Linux on bare-metal servers
- Experience with both cloud and on-premise environments
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Python, Docker, and networking
- Fluent English is essential
