Position within Axens
The Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions Department identifies ecological transition issues, market trends, and future strategic areas for Axens, guiding M&A activities, and defining the company's climate strategy.
Your Mission
You will actively contribute to defining and managing Axens' Climate strategy and collaborate with various group entities, including technical, industrial, sales, and procurement teams across France and abroad.
Your Challenges
- Conduct environmental assessments to inform and implement the Group's Climate Strategy, focusing on scopes 1, 2, and 3, and helping decarbonize the ecosystem through life cycle emission calculations.
- Perform and supervise Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) studies.
- Develop internal methods and tools to assess environmental impacts related to the Group's offerings.
- Raise awareness among Axens employees regarding environmental analysis, including product carbon footprint, LCA, and corporate carbon footprint.
- Support technical and commercial teams in responding to stakeholder inquiries about environmental performance.
Your Contribution
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in environmental assessment, preferably in transport, energy, or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency with methodologies and tools for environmental analysis, especially LCA and carbon footprint.
- Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as GHG Protocol, SBTi, or Net Zero Initiative.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and critical thinking skills, recognized for intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills in English and French; fluency in English is required.
