Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers' critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesThe Regional Service Manager (Southern Europe) is a key leader of field service delivery; leading a team of service engineers to provide the highest level of customer service to customers located in France, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain.

To be successful, the Regional Service Manager will display a strong customer service-minded attitude as well as excellent leadership skills.

They will also have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and third-parties (both external and internal).Key objectives:

-Ensure team cohesion and accountability to achieve objectives:

Lead and hold accountable your service engineers, including providing clear direction, setting priorities, coordination service responses based on customer needs.Support service engineers by prioritising actions.Support service engineers' development by coordinating training and providing timely feedback.Hire and onboard service engineers as required by the businessDrive operational efficiency while providing the highest level of service to our customers:

Be the primary point of contact for Southern region service customersManage all Southern regional service scheduling (warranty, service contracts, billable service and spare parts), escalating issues where requiredCo-ordinate equipment installation utilising team engineers, other European or global engineers or centralised ramp teamsIdentifies and pursues service contracts business in conjunction with service marketing and sales.Monitor and manage engineers throughout the entire support lifecycle for client's onsite needsEnable data-driven decision making including:

Ensure accurate ticketing via OraclePrepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and KPIs to track efficient use of resources and capacity to meet client needs and drive continuous improvementWorks closely with Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) team to identify site spare part inventory levels and ensures RMA procedures are followed.Qualifications8-10 years of experience in service, including 3-5 years of service management experience in complex capital equipmentcombining optics, electronics, high precision mechanics, software, preferably inspection or metrology systems for the semiconductor industryEstablishing processes and procedures, performance management, metrics & KPIsâ?¯Managing a remote working teamâ?¯BachelorsDegreein relevant fieldStrong written and verbal communications skillsFluent in English language; French language skills highly preferred.Proficient in MS 365 for daily work useTravel to customer site up to 30%Current driver's licenseFrance based (Grenoble preferred)#LIremoteOnto Innovation Inc.
