That job might be the one for you To support our strong growth, we're looking for a TransportProjectManager to join our supply chain department based in Gennevilliers, Sainte-Ménehould or Poland depending where it suits you best with 2 remote days per week.
Our new TransportProjectManager will directly Report to the Supply Chain Director Main activities As TransportProjectmanager you will be in charge of:
â?¢ Mapping of all transports / Cluster (EUR, NA, Asia) â?¢ Update MIFD of external flows / Cluster (EUR, NA, Asia), including storages.
Define target MIFD and lead, with plants and purchasing team, the corresponding action plan.
â?¢ Lead transport CI plan including milk runs, cross docks and identify opportunities (incl.
Make or buy), self-billing..

â?¢ Size and define data base for transports, packaging..

as input for load calculations.
â?¢ Define and implement tools to schedule transports according to MPS and scheduling requirements for inbound and outbound.
Maximize usage of SAP and link all additional tools to SAP.
Train and support plant team on corresponding tools.
â?¢ Define and implement tools to value the cost and impact of transports for different senarii of footprint in MPS.
â?¢ Lead deployment of transport management tools:

Train local teams.
â?¢ Lead RSE improvement plan for transport, including transport optimization, Fuel consumption or alternative energy ..

â?¢ Manage technical projects as automations, Loading/unloading..

â?¢ Define calculation rule to evaluate Make or Buy opportunities:
Cost/savings/CAPEX ..

â?¢ In association with Purchasing Dept, define specifications for transport RFQ and contribute to supplier choices.
â?¢ Through transport optimization and frequencies, contribute to stock reduction action plans.
â?¢ Improve layout of warehouses and corresponding organization:
reduce surface and workforce.
â?¢ Contribute to HSE best practices definitions and deployment related to transports.
â?¢ Contribute to Customer satisfaction improvement (OTIF, deliveries..

) and lead specific customer projects related to transports.
â?¢ Define and deploy Transport KPIs:
truck load, costs ..

and manage corresponding reports.
Accountability including KPIs â?¢ Reduce transports and associated storages costs in coordination with Purchasing.
â?¢ Lead Transport cost improvement plan for ALBEA Tubes Product Line (Europe, North América, Asia) â?¢ Work with Supply Chain organization, plants and purchasing organization to improve:
â?¢ Routes â?¢ Truck Load & KPIs â?¢ Storage locations and cost â?¢ Supplier selection â?¢ Make or buy.
â?¢ Develop associated tools (Incl.
SAP), routines and trainings to enable teams to manage and control transports.
â?¢ Contribute to customer satisfaction.
