Modular Units Project Manager(F/M)

Modular Units Proposal Manager (F/M)

Context:

The mission of the New Development & Transformation Business Division is to innovate and develop technologies, products and digital solutions in the new areas in which Axens wishes to grow, in connection with the energy and ecological transition.

Our Plastic Circular Economy department is looking for a Modular Units Proposal Manager to support the strong development of its modular units offering in the field of chemical recycling of plastics.

Tasks and missions:

• You are responsible for defining and promoting Axens' modular offer in the field of plastics recycling (standardization, recurring execution schemes..

  ) in cooperation with the Plastics Recycling Technologists team, to the company's potential licensees and thus participate in achieving Axens' business plan ambitious target in this field.


• You receive tenders in collaboration with the Sales Managers and organize the preparation of technical proposals for the supply of modular units, involving and coordinating with the relevant teams in the other Axens Business Divisions.
  
  
  You analyze the customer's needs and requirements, organize and carry out technical clarifications to propose the best response strategy


• Together with the Cost Estimation team, you identify the cost elements to be investigated in order to establish the technical price of the project.
  
  
  You propose the preliminary execution plan, schedule and scope of the project and have it validated by the execution teams.
  
  
  You organize a collective review of the project's risks and draw up mitigation plans.


• You work with the Sales Manager and the Legal Department to draw up a coherent proposal covering technical, contractual and commercial aspects.
  
  
  You organize the Hand Over with the dedicated Project Managers in case of success, and support the execution teams if necessary.


• Finally, you analyze and integrate feedback.

Experiences:

• You are a general engineer, or specialized in process or mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' experience on modular or EPC projects in a project engineer and/or proposal/pre-sales role.


• You are fluent in English.
  
  
  Moreover, You have a good communication level of French or are willing to learn the language.


• You are enthusiastic about the idea of working in a team in a multicultural environment, federating your contacts around the development of offers in the field of plastics recycling, and you have a great sense of cooperation.


• Rigorous, with good writing skills and a good ability to summarize, you don't let yourself be thrown off balance, and you're able to find solutions thanks to your pragmatism and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Finally, you have a strong interest in customer relations and commercial ambition.
