Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Packaging Development Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in working with diverse packaging materials.


The role involves developing, testing, and optimizing packaging solutions across rigid plastics, paper, cardboard, and flexible films, with a strong focus on efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply packaging materials including paper, cardboard, rigid plastics (bottles, cups), and flexible plastics (films, labels, foils).


• Conduct and co-lead material tests at factories; analyze results and prepare specifications using internal formats.


• Prepare comprehensive reports for packaging-related savings and efficiency projects.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and R&D to support development objectives.


• Ensure packaging solutions are aligned with product protection, quality, and regulatory standards.


• Travel to manufacturing sites for on-ground execution of trials and testing as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in packaging development and materials.


• Strong understanding of packaging material properties and applications.


• Proficiency in conducting plant-level trials and material testing.


• Experience in creating technical specifications and project documentation.


• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.


• Strong analytical mindset and ability to draw actionable insights from test results.


• Flexibility to work across office and factory environments.


• Willingness to travel as per project requirements.


• Team player with a high degree of adaptability and problem-solving capabilities.
