Product and Sustainability Development Engineer > Joboolo FR :

• Development of new products from existing portfolio or scratch


• Follow Transversal certification (Factory Mutual, CE marking, etc.)


• Follow sustainability issues linked to the product (Environmental Product Declaration link with the new Construction Product Regulation)


• Leads mechanical design and development of envelop for polyurethane / polyisocyanurate panels


• Defines new polyurethane / polyisocyanurate panels according to requirements and optimizes CE marking efforts between plants


• Support IT Technicians / engineer (in Product Innovation and Development Department) in designing / updating the software


• Follows European regulation, standardization & association and conveys the information / instructions to local Technical Product Departments


• Realize Life Cycle Analysis calculation and ensure publication of Environmental Product Declaration of ArcelorMittal Construction innovative products


• Support local team to develop their Life Cycle Analysis skills for their local Environmental Product Declaration


• Support implementation of new Construction Product Regulation and regulation in link with product sustainability issues

Profile

• Mechanical / Civil Engineer


• 6 to 15 years of experience


• Advanced Excel skills


• Fluency in French and English; German will be considered an asset


• Experience in construction materials is a plus


• Scientific mindset, good professional networking skills


• Other key competencies considered as assets for the role:
  
  
  conceptualization abilities, rigor, autonomy, curiosity, technical document drafting, set-up and monitor tests, LCA calculations


• Training and development requirements:
  
  
  One click LCA software, Environmental Product Declaration / Life Cycle Analysis trainings, training on mechanical performances of panels

Team

• As an expert, you will be in contact with different teams within AM Construction such as technicians, sales, CTO, COO, CMO, supply chain


• You will report directly to the Product Development Director


• You can be located in Reims, Haironville or Onnaing
