Would you like to join us in shaping the future of trade services? Komgo is actively searching for an Application Support Engineer/ Customer Success Engineer to strengthen our Agile team.

We are looking for a permanent fulfillment (100%) of this position in Paris or London.

Responsibilities:

Request and Incident Management:

· Provides support to end-users on how to use our applications.

· Supports our customers when they raise an incident and escalate to L3 when help is needed.

· Reading code (JavaScript and Java) to perform basic investigation and debugging of problems.

· Diagnoses issues and establishes their root cause.

· Communicate progress and problems to customers.

· Initiates task force over critical incidents.

· Documents support procedures.

System Monitoring:

· Deploy, maintain, document the platform monitoring, including dashboards and alarms.

· Write scripts and programs to gather data for monitoring and analysis of problems.

· Proactively monitor all the Komgo components.

· Work with OPS Lead and DevOps Engineers to make sure everything is properly monitored and enhance it if need be.

Maintenance and enhancements:

· Participates to release cycles for functional validation on staging/preproduction and production environments.

· Review release and coordinate around deployment/post release checks.

· Communicates release notes.

Continuous Service Level improvement:

· Actively seeks reduction of dependency on manual interventions by ops staff.

· Schedule and run the Disaster Recovery Plan periodically.

· Propose improvements of the Komgo software with regards to error handling, deployment issues, etc.

Skills and Qualifications:

· B.Sc.

or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.

· Ability to communicate with technical and business teams (at all levels).

· Good knowledge of administration, monitoring and support tools (Zendesk, Grafana, Zenduty, etc.).

· Good documentation skills, fluent in tools like:

Confluence, Jira, SharePoint.

· Good understanding of common operating systems (Windows, MacOS) and web browsers (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox).

· Fluent in English and German and excellent communication skills.

· Team player, proactive, responsible, exemplary.
