As a ProjectBuyer, you are accountable for leading and managing purchasing activities:
sourcing, planning, production part approval process, tooling investments and Quality Assurance, Risk Management in cross-functional projects, and contributing to project deliveries.
| YOUR CHALLENGES Interact with the purchasing community from Buyers and SQEs to Managers and Vice-Presidents; Communicate to stakeholders in purchasing and presenting project status to purchasing reference groups; Create initiatives, communicate, and share success stories to engage people in the project; Provide supplier competencies to the project with the support of Purchasing segment leaders.
| WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU? 2 years of working experience within the automotive industry; Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; Understanding the Purchasing challenges and you are ready to support them; Works well on projects on their own as well as with a team, able to clearly communicate ideas; Understand cost drivers and bring business perspectives to the project; Strong risk management skills; Developed negotiation skills and communication skills; Entrepreneurial spirit.
