We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to support a finance transformation programme within a Private Equity-backed telecommunications business.
This role will be instrumental in providing expertise and analysis around Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance, ensuring high-quality data standards and enabling effective financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Act as a key liaison between finance, IT, and business stakeholders to drive data-related initiatives in the transformation programme.
Develop and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Support Master Data Management (MDM) efforts by analyzing, cleansing, and maintaining critical business data.
Collaborate with finance and technology teams to align data models with business objectives and reporting requirements.
Analyze financial and operational data, identifying insights to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure data integrity across multiple systems and support data migration activities as part of the transformation.
Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate key findings and track progress.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
Key Requirements :
Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst, preferably within a finance transformation or telecommunications environment.
Strong expertise in data governance, Master Data Management (MDM), and financial data analysis.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and strong skills in SQL and Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
