Subcontract Manager - Marchés de Travaux.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As Works/Construction Contracts Manager, manages the cost and contractual aspects of contracts with construction companies.
TASKS The main tasks of the Works/Construction (Sub)Contracts Manager include the following (non-exhaustive list):
Prepares financial statements for subcontracts under his responsibility.
Reviews financial and contractual information provided by subcontractors to justify any additional work or claims.
Prepares and issues local subcontract orders (if and when necessary).
Ensures that minutes of kick-off meetings with subcontractors are drawn up in good time.
Coordinates and checks progress curves to be used for invoicing by subcontractors.
Prepares status reports on subcontracts and retrieves progress reports from the planning group.
Supervises the filing of the various subcontracts and all related correspondence.
Prepares amendments to subcontracts for approval by the Site Manager and the Head Office Contract Manager.
Prepares notices of defects for approval by the Site Manager.
