SAP Basis Consultant:
CONTEXT:
Participate in the administration and operation of SAP applications within a dedicated team.
Provide level 2 and 3 technical support to resolve complex incidents and optimise services.
This also involves applying cross-functional skills in systems, OS, scripting, network, database, backup, and coordination to ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction on SAP and satellite servers.
ACTIVITIES:
The consultant is responsible for all activities that ensure the availability of pre-production and production platforms.
- Monitor applications
- Handle level 2 / level 3 incident tickets
- Process service requests and changes
- Update operational documentation (DEX)
- Be on-call as required
- Intervene during business hours and off-hours
- Understand the context and business stakes well
- Participate in enhanced Run activities for critical application areas
- Communicate directly with stakeholders
- Possess a deep understanding of application architectures
SKILLS:
- SAP BASIS Installation, Patching and Upgrade
- SAP BASIS Netweaver Administration
- Oracle Database
- SAP HANA Administration
