Blitz is a gaming platform launched by Voodoo in 2021, allowing players to compete on mobile games for real cash prizes (head-up, tournaments, leagues, etc.).

Role



We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer (Python) who will play a key role in the development of Blitz, our real-money gaming platform.

1. Design and implement services that plug and play with the existing microservice ecosystem


2. Contribute to choice of the technology stack and observe best practices for reliability and availability


3. Explore and solve open-ended problems that span across the back-end and infrastructure

1. Excellent back-end programming skills with 4+ years of experience


2. A good understanding of the basics of algorithms and databases


3. Write readable, maintainable, and testable code


4. Experience with any cloud infrastructure provider (AWS, GCP, etc.)


5. The willingness to learn and evolve


Nice to have:






6. Experience writing production-grade systems in Python


7. Experience with microservice architecture and highly distributed systems


8. Experience with Payment Services Providers


9. Knowledge of frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks associated (Bootstrap, JQuery, Vue.js, ..
