SCOPE We are hiring a GlobalSourcingCategoryManager Raw Materials & Commodities, responsible for strategic categories with annual spends of around â?¬150 million.
He/she is leading the raw materials and commodities.
As a part of the GlobalCommodities & Co-Manufacturing Procurement team, you will work across Lactalis's different business divisions at a global level.
This is a challenging, highly dynamic and visible role that will see you leading risks management, hedging strategy and key strategic projects to optimize the quality, service, costs, innovation and cash performance of your categories.
Your MISSION & CHALLENGES :
As a GlobalSourcingCategoryManager Raw Materials & Commodities you will:
Build and execute the globalsourcing strategies.
Lead the hedging strategy, the risks management and the transformation projects of the categories Gain and build expertise on your categories market analysis, spend analysis, internal needs, TCO, cost models Lead a functional network of 15 regional/local buyers Manage Lactalis hedging/coverage with regional/local procurement teams Accountability for supplier selection & development :
maintain and develop relationships with panel suppliers, negotiate agreements, manage their performance with a cross-functional process Be part of the Lactalis sustainable roadmap Identify and leverage of supplier capabilities in long-term development processes, bringing major competitive advantages Accountability for the purchasing budget, manage risks and opportunities to the budget to support Lactalis rapid growth This position is based in Paris or Laval (Pays de la Loire) and requires frequent travels abroad (10 to 30% of the time).
WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US ? 5 years' experience minimum in raw materials & commodities trade, procurement, and/or supply chain Real leadership skills with strategic vision.
Tenacity, with strong adaptation and relationship capabilities to gain credibility and create an efficient network within CBUs and suppliers Natural connector - able to build a network to support business goals Professional sourcing experience or / and education background that provides relevant knowledge within purchasing areas Someone who is oriented to deliver value in these categories, with a strong understanding of the FMCG market across the different cultures Able to align strategy and stakeholders around identified and new business opportunities Positive, good sense of humor, open to feedback and aware of own limitations WHAT'S NEXT ?
