GETTING A FLYING START
As a Financial Planner & Analyst (FP&A), you will play a pivotal role in supporting Nexans’ commercial and innovation strategies with data-driven insights and financial foresight.
You will gather, analyze, and model market and performance data to help shape profitable growth scenarios, guide investment decisions, and align our regional teams around strategic priorities.
This role is your opportunity to turn numbers into narratives — enabling smarter, faster, and future-focused decisions across the Power Connect division.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
- Use your analytical mindset to translate complex datasets into clear business insights that support profitable growth and innovation.
- Build forward-looking financial and commercial models to guide strategic decisions across regions and market segments.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence, regional stakeholders, and market leaders to ensure data quality, granularity, and usability.
- Support decision-making through insightful dashboards, scenario modeling, and ad hoc financial analyses.
- Act as a key contributor to performance tracking and commercial activity forecasts across a rolling
- quarter outlook.
YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), preferably in a global or matrixed organization.
- Proven ability to build and interpret financial models and scenarios, with advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools and ERP systems (e.g.,
SAP, Power BI).
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Curiosity, business acumen, and a collaborative mindset — you know how to connect the dots between numbers and strategy.
- Fluency in English is a must; French is a strong plus.
