BettingJobs is collaborating with an innovative B2B company in the Sports Betting Data sector.


Based in Italy with staff across Europe, the company aims to expand its development team as it enters new markets and sports.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to developing backend APIs.


• Implement new services for the low-latency Athletes Pricing platform.


• Prototype, test, deliver, and deploy new backend features.


• Support the web-based product with high-performing API implementations.


• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate advanced components and algorithms.


• Participate actively in product discussions and decision-making in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements:

Must Have:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, patterns, data structures, and algorithms.


• At least 3 years of experience building scalable, high-performance components with Java (Java 8+) and Spring.


• Minimum 2 years of experience with databases.


• Familiarity with low-latency distributed systems.


• Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in betting, gaming, or sports analytics industries.


• NoSQL database experience (MongoDB preferred).


• Knowledge of Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and distributed system communication.


• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.


• Experience with Reactive programming.


• Knowledge of Python.


• Passion for sports and game analytics.
