As a key player of the legal Department, you will play a transversal and strategic role by ensuring Business & Marketing teams act within a secure legal framework.
You will act as a business partner, advise and support Sales and Marketing teams on evolving business models and offerings, and be their dedicated point of contact.
You will be the Business & Marketing expert in the Legal Department and support other lawyers on Business & Marketing questions.
You will create engaging user experiences for our customers while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Your Missions
Your main responsibilities include:
Creating risk-managed user experiences and ensuring contracts, business models, offers, communication, and marketing campaigns comply with regulations.
Promoting trust by ensuring personal data processing complies with regulations and rights are protected.
Developing legal strategies to reduce disputes and litigation risks while maintaining customer service quality.
Implementing contract performance strategies, utilizing techniques like Legal Design, and translating legal language into clear business language.
Creating and updating Terms and Conditions templates for Yousign's services across France, Germany, and Italy.
Managing contractual activities, negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts with suppliers and partners.
Monitoring laws and regulations in the tech, digital, and SaaS sectors in France, Germany, and Italy, with support from local law firms.
Developing training materials and conducting sessions on contract negotiation and legal best practices.
Drafting policies and procedures to optimize legal efficiency and framework.
Handling disputes with clients, users, prospects, and partners.
Who are you?
If interested, here are the key skills for the role:
At least 8 years of experience, including 6 in-house legalcounsel and 5 in Business & Marketing.
A Master's degree in French Law (License + M1 + M2) in IP/IT or Business & International Affairs; an LLM abroad is a plus.
Excellent French & English writing and speaking skills.
Experience in a Tech/SaaS company preferred.
Background in a highly regulated industry is a plus.
Experience working with German/Italian business teams is a plus.
