They are seeking a skilled
Senior HPC Systems Engineer
to manage and optimize their HPC infrastructure within a classified customer environment.
This role is
100% onsite
and requires security clearance.
The RoleAs a
Senior HPC Systems Engineer
, you will be responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of
HPC infrastructure
.
You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and technical experts to ensure smooth operations, system reliability, and security compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and resolve technical issues, working closely with support teams and vendorsCoordinate and oversee hardware maintenance and troubleshooting activitiesMonitor system performance and proactively address potential issuesManage software lifecycles, including updates, patches, and security enhancementsPlan and execute infrastructure upgrades and optimizationsMaintain detailed technical documentation and operational proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient HPC operations
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in some or all of the following
- Linux, Lustre, infiniband, slurmExpertise in
Linux system administration
across multiple distributionsAdministration of
parallel file systems
(Lustre, GPFS, etc.)Knowledge of
networking technologies
(Ethernet, Infiniband)
Special Requirements
Security Clearance (Secret
- PSDN)
will be required
