SCOPE We are hiring for a SeniorGlobalSourcingBuyer on NutritionalIngredients, responsible for a direct raw material spend of around â?¬20 million, leading Premix, Vitamins, Maltodextrins & Nutritional Oils categories with possible evolutions.
You will join the Global Procurement Organization based in Lactalis Headquarters in the Laval area.
You will work in a team dedicated to Ingredients & Specialties (NutritionalIngredients, Cultures and Enzymes, Fruit preps, Whey Derivatives).
Your MISSION & CHALLENGES :
Reporting to the GlobalSourcing Manager in charge of Specialties, you will be leading the strategy definition and implementation of your categories.
You will have regular contact across Lactalis countries in the 5 continents and in different applications (Infant Nutrition, Milk, Yogurt applications).
This position is located as hybrid format including different Lactalis HQ's and requiring travels (10 to 30%).
As Global Category Buyer, you will :
Define with all relevant Stakeholders (R&D, Industrial, Quality, Marketing, ..

) the strategy of the category, taking into consideration the internal and external partners (Lactalis Countries, Market environment, Suppliers..

).
Design the Roadmap for execution Drive the strategy with your local counterparts (local buyers and local R&D) and monitor its progress Manage the Suppliers Portfolio and define the Suppliers Panel Lead Strategic Projects with local and global Teams (multiple sourcing, business continuity plan, saving projects..

) Identify Market Opportunities Manage global Tenders Negotiate Global Sales Conditions and Contracts with Global Suppliers Monitor your category with KPIs Develop Market Knowledge and Expertise, Understand Key Market Drivers WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US ? 5 years' experience minimum in procurement, commodities trade and/or supply chain Excellent communicator with leadership potential - Strategic vision.
