About Us:
The France financial controlling team, consisting of 5 members including this role, is responsible for a wide range of controlling activities in France.
We have strong connections with local teams including FP&A, legal, and HR, as well as with the Central Regional Controlling team in Amsterdam, Central Functions in Barcelona, and Shared Services in Romania and India.
Role Overview:
As the SeniorManagerFinancial Controlling, you will serve as the vital link between various teams, while also leading and supporting the French controlling team.
Leadership at our company means actively nurturing your team's success through coaching, coordination, and hands-on involvement in daily operations to set an example and impart knowledge.
A solid understanding of finance systems, processes, reporting, and accounting is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings by collaborating closely with internal and external FinancialControllers and Analysts Utilize SAP S4 HANA and onestream reporting for effective revenue controlling and accounting for relevant countries and centrally managed revenue streams Conduct trial balance reviews and flux analysis Coordinate allocations and cross charges Oversee project accounting and payroll coordination, including expense report coordination Coordinate local statutory audits and liaise with legal and tax advisors for tax declarations and required forms submission Liaise and report to local authorities on necessary reporting and submissions Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controlling, Finance, or Accounting Minimum of 10 years of experience in an accounting and/or controlling role, preferably in an international global environment Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience Strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel, and a knack for numbers Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work and prioritize independently in an international matrix organization Proficiency in accounting software, preferably SAP S4 HANA Fluency in both English and French, written and spoken Additional Information:
The role will be based in Paris, with occasional travel to Amsterdam and Barcelona.
