Role overview:

As our Software Quality Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our software development process—ensuring our embedded and ground systems meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance.


You’ll work hand-in-hand with our development teams to bring robust and certifiable software to life for our launch vehicles Baguette One, OB-1.

Your key responsibilities:

• Define and implement processes that guarantee software excellence from design to deployment.


• Ensure compliance with key industry frameworks (ECSS, DO-178, ISO 9001) and write Software Quality Assurance Plans (SQAP).


• Support teams with tools, best practices, and methodologies to streamline the development lifecycle.


• Plan and conduct audits, participate in software testing (unit, integration, system), and oversee qualification activities.


• Lead the resolution of bugs and non-conformities across dev and operational phases.


• Create risk analyses, audit reports, and detailed quality documentation to support certification and traceability.

As a secondary mission, in close cooperation with our supply chain manager, you will drive supplier quality management for critical subsystems of the launcher, such as the On-Board Computer, Engine Control Unit, and ground systems installation.

Who we are looking for:

You are an experienced engineer with a proven track record in software quality, ideally in space, aerospace, or defense.

You thrive working on critical systems that will fly, and in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

You own the following qualifications:

• Experience with critical software standards:
  
  
  ECSS-E-ST-40C, ECSS-Q-ST-80C, DO-178.


• Solid grasp of software development cycles:
  
  
  V-model, Agile, DevOps.


• Hands-on knowledge of tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and languages like C / C++, Python, Java.


• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and detail-focused.


• A collaborative spirit, ready to work in a multidisciplinary team.
