Your role as a Structurer will report to the Head of Structuring Secured Finance, Loans & Private Debt and you will be part of the AXA IM Alts department.

In this context, the structurer role in Front Office is central.
They are responsible for initiating, structuring, and launching new transactions or products, such as open and closed-end funds, as well as dedicated mandates.
This involves in-depth risk analysis, negotiation of financial and legal terms, and coordination of the launch with both internal and external parties.
The structurer is also involved in structuring transactions for the Secured Finance team on behalf of its clients.
They work closely with management, investment teams, sales, and support functions, with direct interaction both internally and externally.
The Structuring team is composed of 6 structurers, with a particular focus on Private Debt and Private Equity funds.

Key Responsibilities
Suggest the best investment vehicle based on the client’s specific needs, considering regulatory, legal, accounting, and tax constraints.
Create cash flow models for new transactions, assess risks, and align the structure with the client’s risk-return strategy.
Set portfolio investment rules that serve the client’s best interests while respecting manager constraints.
Choose the best partners (banks, custodians, service providers, etc.).
Negotiate legal documents such as engagement letters, prospectuses, management mandates, and distribution contracts.
