Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and optimize transport routes and schedules according to driver availability and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with French transport laws and EU regulations.
- Manage vehicle maintenance and oversee safety inspections.
- Lead and coordinate the transport team, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Monitor transport costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate transport documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Qualifications :
Holding a current, valid and active Capacité de transport certificate is mandatory for this role.
- Success in building high performing teams
- Have experience of managing large fast paced transport operations
- Relevant degree or diploma in logistics, transport management, or business administration.
- Strong knowledge of FR and EU transport regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in French and English languages.
