We are working with a market leading business who are looking for a 2 nd line support IT technician to join their customer focused IT team.

Working in a small team, reporting to the IT Manager, you could be dealing with day to day IT queries around hardware, network and software issues including email and printer problems, Wi-Fi connectivity issues, adding printers / scanners to laptops or diagnosing hardware problems etc.
Logging all helpdesk requests onto the system ready to action and flag recurring problems, identifying and escalating issues requiring urgent attention as well as making sure that all IT inventories are up to date to support ongoing or upcoming IT projects.
Thats why we are looking at someone who is keen to continue their career within IT with excellent communication skills both face to face and over the phone.
An NVQ level 3 or equivalent would be beneficial but it is not essential.
We are looking to speak to candidate who have worked in a similar role with a pro-active and problem-solving approach to their work.
Someone who is agile with a willingness to learn what they dont know.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 40 hours (9.00 5.30) a week with car parking available, enhanced employer contribution pension, death in service policy, bonus and private medical healthcare.
