We are looking for a AWS SecurityEngineer who will work side by side with the Leidos Corporate Information Security team and the Cybersecurity program team across the LCS(T) programme.
You will support and guide the implementation of security initiatives to improve overall security within the LCS(T) programme.
Support the LCS(T) Physical and the LCST/S2C Security Working Groups which require close co-operation with our customer (MOD) and our key partners (e.g.
K&N, TVS).
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Will need to have good knowledge of AWS architecture best practices and best-in-class security standards Responsible for building, maintaining, upgrading, and continuously improving security of cloud networks and cloud-based systems Responsible for ensuring that the cloud (infrastructure, platform, and software) operates in a secure way.
Review relevant Cyber Risk alerts/notifications and MODCERT notices, assess impact on and vulnerability of our (SCIP) solution Define actions to take and work with the technical teams to implement mitigating solutions within required timeframes Writing knowledge base articles for threat intelligence Writing threat detection documentation Review of High and Low Level Design Review of RMADs to create risk registers Essential Technical and Professional Expertise Required:
Experience securing AWS workloads and managing security controls for AWS Experience designing and implementing security controls and best practices Clearance Required:

The Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) Programme for the UK Ministry of Defence is a critical effort to enhance and improve the UKs defence supply chain.
