In support of unprecedented growth, PwC's Consulting practice currently has a vacancy in its FS Enterprise Transformation team for a Manager who will help lead the Asset Management & Asset Servicing sector team, working with leading vendor solutions such as Charles River/State Street ALPHA, BlackRock Aladdin and SimCorp Dimension.

Enterprise Transformation (ET) is at the centre of designing and implementing multi competency changes at the heart of our clients’ organisations through designing and implementing the right enterprise operating model or supporting them on their most complex of change programmes.

As part of a specialist team, within the wider Financial Services cluster, you will be encouraged to initiate and develop new ideas.

Our highly motivated team has an excellent track record of delivering high quality work to major international clients and has ambitious growth plans.

Our Clients / The Market As a Manager you are expected to primarily work on client engagements, contributing to and leading transformation projects.

However, we pride ourselves in bringing the very latest thinking to our clients and so you will also be expected to be a part of developing our ET solutions, and growing your own ideas, within the Asset Management and Servicing area.

Our client base covers a breadth of organisations spanning:

Traditional & Alternative Fund Managers, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Fund Service Providers (Administrators, Transfer Agents, Depositaries), Prime Brokers and Custodians.

These are primarily large multinational organisations who are leaders in their respective markets.

Implementation of BlackRock Aladdin to reduce reliance on a highly fragmented IT architecture at a global asset manager Japanese subsidiary of a global asset manager
- Transition from Charles River to BlackRock Aladdin BlackRock Aladdin implementation review for a global asset manager to improve efficiency and system utilisation and reduce operating costs by 20% State Street ALPHA outsourcing implementation at a UK-headquartered insurance asset manager State Street ALPHA outsourcing implementation at a European Asset Manager based out of Switzerland  Platform vendor selection at a global asset manager replacing over 10 front office systems globally
- Charles River, BlackRock Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension Utilising cloud technology to provide data solutions as part of the modernisation of a large UK Depository Responsibilities Client Manage/lead workstreams within engagements to design enterprise operating models and deliver enterprise transformation change projects to a high standard Build relationships with our key clients Identify client needs and help propose solutions to them Manage the financial aspects core business KPIs of the engagement People Be a role model/coach for more junior consultants and for our clients’ people Be mindful of your own, and support colleagues’ well-being Build strong relationships within the firm Firm Support and manage business development activities Support the development of propositions we bring to our clients Support the quality and risk procedures in the firm Personal Development Maintain an up-to-date skillset and a consistently high and leading-edge market profile Maintain your knowledge of developments in the Asset Management industry Become a subject matter expert in at least 2-3 areas within asset management and asset servicing Requirements Joining our team as a Manager, we would expect you to have very strong experience of operating model design and large change projects preferably within a consulting environment or leading asset management focused business.

You will have been able to demonstrate a track record of high-quality design and delivery success in the work you have undertaken to date and be able to articulate the business benefits of the work.

Solutions architect with good business knowledge across the Asset Management value chain
- Front Office, Middle Office as well as Back Office
- and how the functions within each are impacted by the core asset management platforms.

Excellent business and technical knowledge of Asset Management platforms
- such as Charles River / State Street ALPHA, BlackRock Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Bloomberg AIM and Amundi ALTO
- as well as strengths & weaknesses, data solutions and market trends of each.

Excellent track record with the implementation of at least one core Asset Management platform.

Excellent track record of Target Operating Model Design and Implementation in relation to platforms implementation, including structured business analysis, functional decomposition, sourcing model, data model, organisational model as well as high level technical architecture.

Excellent track record of >5 years as a Platform Implementation Programme/Project Manager or a Workstream Lead for large complex asset management projects involving market-leading asset management core systems as well as Stakeholder Management.

Strong knowledge of the PMO function, for example, planning, status reporting, SteerCo reporting.

Preferred It is likely that your work will be part of wider transformational programmes and hence experience in delivering other competencies (Digital Services, Cloud Transformation, Regulatory) is desirable.

Experience working in a program management role on a large transformation project in Asset Management such as outsourcing middle/back office to a third party.

Ideally you will have attained a professional qualification, for example, PRINCE2.
