AssistantFundAccountant £33,000 - £43,000 + Study Support London, Hybrid An AssistantFundAccountant is required for a global professional provider for the Real Estate and Private Equity market This is an ideal role for an eager and aspiring individual looking to pursue their accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA), working with precision and efficiency to ensure deadlines are met within the team on projects.
The successful candidate will progress to a fully qualified accountant and gain experience within real estate, private equity, infrastructure, and debt funds.
Responsibilities Get involved in producing management, monthly and quarterly accounts, and reporting packs across the business, including accounts payable for projects, payment runs for entities, cash management to the accounting system, and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare complex calculations and models like fund waterfalls, consolidations, and reporting metrics like IRRs Producing key management information by maintaining internal reporting Prepare key calculations such as loan interest, management fees, and deferred transactions Communicating with external service providers and handling queries, such as audits Preparation of management accounts & NAVs/Producing financial accounts typically IFRS or UK GAAP compliant Key Requirements You must have a good academic track record, and actively pursuing ACCA/CIMA A desire to build and progress a career within the professional services industry Some working experience within a fund environment/real estate Effective use of Excel is a necessity, and knowledge of SUN is advantageous If you are looking to your accounting knowledge within a growing Professional service firm where you will have all the support you need, be sure to apply today to secure an interview!
