Description About this role Team Overview:
Platform Client Engagement (PCE) is part of the Platform Product Office within BlackRock's Aladdin Product Group.
Our team supports over 200 external organizations that use Aladdin through BlackRock Solutions (BRS) offerings ( https:
//www.blackrock.com/aladdin/home ).
PCE plays a crucial role liaising between our Aladdin business and the Aladdin platform providing technical support for Aladdin clients, leading the technical implementation of Aladdin at new BRS clients and providing business development support and management of projects for client technology requirements.
PCE is a fast-paced team operating in a dynamic environment and provides the right individual with challenging work and an opportunity to lead cross functional groups in achieving a wide variety of objectives.
Job Purpose / Responsibilities:
The candidate will work in the PCE Aladdin Client Connectivity team.
In this role, PCE develops strong working relationships with a myriad of Internal and External teams to deliver tactical and strategic connectivity solutions and support for our client base who are accessing the Aladdin products.
Aladdin Client Connectivity Implementations & Support Coordinate the technical last mile implementations and/or changes for new and existing BRS Aladdin clients Coordinate maintenance and support of client connectivity Participate in strategic connectivity engineering design discussions Participate in ongoing documentation creation and maintenance Additional technical work in support of the Aladdin business Additional Opportunities Due to the dynamic nature of what PCE does, team members have the opportunity to challenge themselves across a breadth of topics, whether that is staying ahead of the latest technology or realizing opportunities to take ownership of various initiatives.
Qualifications:
A successful candidate is expected to possess and demonstrate the following:
Essential Skills An understanding of networking lingo (Network+ certification and/or Azure/AWS network fundamentals training a plus) Experience coordinating the implementation of enterprise networking technologies (MPLS, Azure, AWS, VPN, etc.) Technical troubleshooting of desktop technologies and basic TCP/IP networking Strong technical writing skills or previous documentation experience Good interpersonal and communication skills Self-motivated, driven and able to work in a team environment Ability to resolve conflicting high-priority requirements Results-oriented professional committed to personally driving objectives to completion, maintaining flexibility where an adjusted work schedule and/or evening/weekend work are required 1+ years of experience in a technical support engineer, desktop support engineer, IT help desk, or similar role, financial services a plus Desirable Skills Scripting or basic development language skills to automate common tasks Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science desired Our benefits To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of employee benefits including:
