We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual, for an exciting opportunity to manage one of our social enterprise cafés.
Our cafes use the funds they generate, to provide training, create jobs and apprentice positions for people with a learning disability.
The CateringGeneralManager will support and train people with a learning disability, whilst being responsible for the overall management and performance of the café, hospitality and events department.
As part of this role, you will be training catering tasks such as barista skills, customer service and culinary skills.
You will work as part of a dynamic team to provide a professional service, delivering high quality food and service.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience of running a commercial café for minimum two years Previous experience of organising and running events, both internal and external, minimum two years NVQ or equivalent in cooking and food service Level 3 food safety certificate Level 3 health and safety certificate Food allergens certificate Evidence of training multiple trainees, both front and back of house, including culinary Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities Evidence of having an organised, patient manner Evidence of excellent customer service Experience of completing company monetary bookwork, stock take and budgeting Financially astute Computer literate including Excel A proven track record of achievements in a management role is essential for the role For Further information on this role contact Lynn Parker at Unity Works Unity Works is an equal opportunities employer.
