LighthouseMedical Supporting excellence in healthcare We are inviting expressions of interest for the role of Chair of LighthouseMedical CBS.
LighthouseMedical has operated NHS and private services for over 10 years.
It is particularly well known for its dermatology services led by consultants, GPs with special interest and nurse practitioners.
The Chair provides leadership in corporate governance, in the oversight of the strategic and operational health of the organisation, and at quarterly board meetings.
LighthouseMedical intends that its recent change of status to a social enterprise in the form of charitable community benefit society will further embed and align its altruistic aims with those of the local health and social care community, and with the public who are users of its services.
The Chair will support and promote the Society's ongoing vision to become a centre of excellence in healthcare both locally and regionally.
Time commitment is expected to be the equivalent of 1 session per month (half a day).
The current sessional rate is £350.
The successful candidate is likely to have corporate governance experience in commercial or social enterprises at director level, with a business management background.
