Hagley Road Retirement Village is looking for a ChefManager to run the daily operations for the Bistro/restaurant/bar to cover a maternity leave over 9 months with a opportunity for a permanent position at the end of the fixed contract.
The start date for the position would be 20th March 2023.
The site operates 365 days a year.
The ideal candidate will work 5 over 7 days per week including some weekends and evenings.
This also includes Christmas day and New years day.
Your key responsibilities as the ChefManager will consist of:
Lead Heads of Departments to ensure proactive management of teams on site Accountable for recruiting, inducting, training and supporting staff to deliver an efficient, high quality service to Elior UK, our customer and clients Motivating and managing a team Controlling and managing a budget Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence Accountable for maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget Engage with clients, customers and residents Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues You will be responsible to close weekly bookwork and month end accounts using an online system.
