Director of SalesOperations Private Label Solutions (PLS) is a growing business, within the Expedia for Business (E4B) organization, and is an industry leading B2B Travel provider.
The Sales Execution and Support team is an essential function within the PLS organization and thrives on cross functional collaboration and making impactful contributions! We provide three critical services to the business:
1) Blueprint strategy 2) Operations and 3) Sales Support.
These functions work together to deliver commercial and operational excellence to our customers (internally and externally) and across every aspect of our business.
The Operations team's focus is driving improvements that result in a better team and partner experience.
They achieve this by optimizing processes, with a focus on automation and tool management.
As a Director of SalesOperations, you will be leading a high-performing team, motivated to drive continuous improvement across the Private Label Solutions business.
It will be your responsibility to create and communicate a vision for our global operations strategy.
Set goals, create a short - and long-term roadmap, and oversee the team's projects ensuring they are on track and removing potential roadblocks.
What you'll do:
Own end-to-end workforce management for Operations, including forecasting, capacity planning, and project assignment Own the Operations roadmap, prioritizing initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with the business strategy and goals Use data, stakeholder and team feedback alongside business knowledge to identify opportunities for operational improvement Set expectations for operational performance and partner experience including defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objective and Key Results (OKRs) Enhance visibility and understanding of operational pipeline Act as a key influencer for stakeholder groups to ensure your team are fully supported to achieve their goals Lead highly transparent and effective partnerships with colleagues and stakeholders to influence prioritization and champion collaboration Assess and manage potential business continuity issues and risks, whilst ensuring the necessary policies and processes are up to date and actionable Continually assess new processes, products, services, and systems, to ensure the basics work efficiently and they enable the business to operate and deliver on their goals Lead, coach and develop the operations team Who you are:
An experienced leader with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience A leader with extensive experience managing global operations teams for a large-scale enterprise business (preferably in the travel and/or technology space) Excellent understanding of operational structures, processes, and tools that are essential to managing large operational projects Results-oriented and comfortable motivating teams to achieve ambitious targets and goals Salesforce proficiency is a must Self-motivated, self-aware, and able to drive collaborative success Advanced Microsoft Office skills; advanced skills in relational database management systems and data visualization/reporting solutions (e.g., Tableau), skilled in using project management software Proficiency in English + additional language a plus About Expedia Group Expedia Group (NASDAQ:
