My client, an industry leading manufacturing company, is searching for an experienced electrically qualified maintenanceengineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
They are a positive and well organised team and want someone who is looking to develop their skill set, get stuck in and manage their own time and own responsibilities.
If you are electrically qualified and looking for a challenge where you can not only progress within a growing company, but also mentor and pass on your skill set, this is a really exciting position for you! The progression is real - you will be trained by a member of the senior team and the maintenance manager who actually joined this company as an apprentice and has worked his way up.
The team is long established and close-knit with a family style 'pitch in where needed' work ethos.
The Role:
Your role will be split between planned and preventative maintenance, electrical testing and calibration, setting up equipment and all follow up work including record keeping and ensuring health and safety requirements.
The bulk of your work will be fault-finding, reading electrical control drawings, testing and repairing a range of equipment, but also fixing mechanical aspects of the conveyor and ensuring the production line runs efficiently.
A large part of your work will be on PLC systems, so a good understanding is fundamental.
You should have a 'can do' attitude, be able to show initiative and enjoy challenging yourself.
Furthermore, you should be a team player and be familiar with working on an industrial or fast-paced automation site.
Essential Requirements:
Experience working as an maintenanceengineer on an automated manufacturing site.
Genuine interest to progress and grow with the company long-term.
Time-served electrical apprenticeship or Level 3 and above qualified.
Strong PLC fault finding knowledge.
You must be able to read electrical drawings.
18th Edition 'Can do' attitude and ability to manage your own time/schedule.
Experience with computerised maintenance management systems.
