Wiltshire (Hybrid working available) My client is looking to recruit an EngineeringManager(Productsafety) for their engineering business located in Wiltshire.
They are a global business with various locations throughout the world and are a market leading in their industry manufacturing safety critical parts for the rail industry.
This is a key role within the business, and the main function of the role will leading all safety related aspects of NPD and system development within the business.
Other duties within the role will be:
Defining and delivering safety strategy and delivery plan to full fill mandatory Leading the SIL determination / allocation / Hazard Identification process for product and system Lead engineering team to develop robust safety architectures which meet the safety requirements (with use of DFMEA, SFMEA, FTA techniques as appropriate).
Managing safety process deliverables and construction of technical safety Managing and delivering safety case approvals.
Technical authority & peer review of all Generic product and system safety Governance to maintain safety approvals in product Assisting planning activities, conducting and participating in project audits / The successful candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:
Hardware and Software system knowledge.
Educated to degree level in relevant discipline.
Degree in relevant engineering Formal Systems Safety related Knowledge of EN61508, EN50128 and EN50129 The role will involve working a 37 hour working week, and hybrid working is available within the role for the successful candidate.
