Are you an mechanically based build service engineer who has senior or leadership experience? Do you want to work in one of Britain's most iconic buildings in a role that offer autonomy, career progression, training and excellent benefits? In this role you will be responsible for maximizing the operational availability of all building mechanicalservices including boilers, air handling units, Steam system, Mechanical ventilation and the major Trend Building Management System.
As such you will be required to become an Authorized Person in order to issue associated permit to works etc.
and supervise works carried out by in house staff, contractors, and specialist engineers as well ensuring value for money on orders raised.
The ideal candidate will be mechanically qualified, have a proven track record in building services and have been in a senior role such as supervisor or team leader.

The role:
*Monday to Friday days based role.
*36 hours a week.
*Senior role 30% Hands on 70% Supervisor duties.
*Creating and managing work requests.
*Financial Control:
*Management of Condition Surveys The person *NVQ Level 3 in a Building Services related subject or electrical engineering qualification *Significant experience of maintaining boilers, air handling units, Steam system, Mechanical ventilation *Operating a BMS system to monitor and identify faults etc.
*Experience of preparing and approving permit works, building services risk assessments and method statements, carrying out site-based safety inspections.
*Understanding of safe systems of work and health and safety legislation relative to building services plant and equipment.
*Ability to work under pressure to resolve complex engineeringservices related faults and emergencies.
